Back in March I was delighted to learn that the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) had judged my image of the canal basin at Castlefield in Manchester a finalist in their inaugural RICS UK infrastructure photography competition. The image itself was printed and framed by the RICS and exhibited at their London HQ in Westminster together with the other nine finalists. The image was also profiled on the BBC News website as well as national and local press. I was invited down to London in March 2015 to the RICS HQ in Westminster to view my photograph printed and framed and displayed with the other finalists. The photograph was taken in November 2014 when walking around Manchester city centre with fellow photographers.
